France has recently adopted a law that states that foreign producers will have a cut-off on taxes corresponding to 20% of the expenses made on the film.
Films must have elements that are linked to the French culture or territory. The projects that enlight a French literature character, a screenplay that refers to the French society, a patrimonial set, some French speaking characters, will be given preferential treatment.
You don't have the whole movie to speak French.
Films should involve at least 1 million euro expenses on at least 5 days shooting.
The tax credit cannot be more than 4 million euros.
As not to inflate stars fees, the talent fees will be considered the legal minimum.
